Head of Creative Learning, Engagement and Touring
Leads a department of diverse teams responsible for the development and delivery of the Art Gallery’s strategic programming and engagement onsite, offsite and online through collaborative partnerships and relationships to help people to connect with art in an enjoyable and meaningful way and enhance their experience of the Art Gallery.
The position has responsibility for the high performance teams delivering creative learning, engagement through public, community and access programs, and the touring exhibition program, each with the objective to deliver outstanding art experiences for our broad and diverse audiences.

What technical / soft skills you require
- Substantial experience at a senior level within the cultural sector, preferably the visual arts, developing strategy and leading engaging programs for diverse audiences; building high level, collaborative and creative relationships across a large and geographically diverse cultural sector leading to effective outcomes.
- Vision, creativity, and demonstrated experience in leading a dynamic team to successfully deliver new outcomes and high level stakeholder management skills and experience.
- Substantial experience in developing and overseeing delivery of internal and external programs and exhibitions to enhance the reputation of the Art Gallery and leading to outstanding art experiences.
- Well-developed leadership skills to lead and support a high calibre, multi-functional team.
- High level written and verbal communication skills.
